algae based batteries for the 21st century

We build optimization platforms for large scale manufacturing of algae-based batteries. Our R&D platform offers a robust, modular and flexible tool aimed at integrating algal strain domestication, material standardization, and battery design to manufacture biodegradable energy storage solutions that are compatible with current infrastructures, and can be customized for applications in electric transportation. Our algae are not alive, we use it as a structural scaffold for synthetic conductive polymers that can be molded into any shape to store electrical charge.
