This tour is limited to 20 people but we do have a few spots left. **You need to email tours@americansteelstudios.com to reserve a spot on this tour.** Space still remains on our March 12th tour from 2pm-4pm if you can’t make this Saturday.

Experience the truly unique and eclectic art world existing in the country’s largest industrial art warehouse. Located in the heart of West Oakland, American Steel Studios is home to over 180 artists and entrepreneurs.

This month will highlight some of the dynamic duos in the building. These talented teams prove that two heads are sometimes better than one when creating art! This is a rare opportunity to talk with artists about their process, view their work spaces and their latest work. The tour will cover artists working in a variety of mediums ranging from steel, wood, glass, paint, and more.

This tour is limited to 20 people to create an intimate experience. Suggested donation $10 per person. To reserve your spot, send an email to: tours@americansteelstudios.com

Led by: Lupin DeMuth from American Steel Studios

Meet at: American Steel Studios, 1960 Mandela Parkway, at the main entrance to the warehouse on 20th Street.

American Steel Studios was founded in 2009 to provide affordable space in which artists and entrepreneurs can create and inspire. The population is diverse and creative, manifesting a space that is resplendent with cross-pollination and inspiration.

Our population includes industrial artists and large-scale sculptors, painters, photographers, printers, fire artists, illustrators, furniture makers and lighting, costume, fashion, and jewelry designers along with entrepreneurs and innovators working to bring new energy and environmental technology to light.

Our founder, Karen Cusolito, sits on the board of the West Oakland Commerce Association, the Advisory Board for the Crucible, is a founding member of the Oakland Makers and the recipient of the 2013 Alameda County Arts Leadership Award.

American Steel Studios is proud to offer public art tours on the Second Saturday of every month in 2015 from 2pm-4pm, with a rotating list of participating artists.
